When I decided to start blogging again I also decided to move from my self-hosted blog site to wordpress.com. As you may have read elsewhere on this blog, I’m tired of futzing around with all the techie stuff, and am working hard to have a simpler tech life. To that end, I figured moving to a managed site would be better. And it is! I really like what wordpress.com offers and how it works. No more manual updates, no more wondering why my site is so slow or not working at all. That’s all good. But…

I thought moving my domain (wordsfromrob.com) here would be fairly straightforward, so didn’t give it much thought before moving everything over. Well, it’s not as straightforward as I’d hoped. I’m working on getting it set up properly.

Nothing will change for you, as the current address will continue to work fine. But, I wanted to point out that the real address will change. So, in the (hopefully) not too distant future, you can reach this site at wordsfromrob.com.
