I recently wrote about a trip I took and how I had hoped to keep up with my blogging while traveling. Unfortunately, I ended up not blogging during that trip, but I did keep up with my personal journal. Denny commented on the post, asking me if I’d ever written about my journaling habit, which I hadn’t. It seemed like a good idea for a post.

Apple Watch as Travel Companion
I recently took a month-long trip to Europe. Before the trip, I wrote about my intention to leave my iPad behind (a first!) and travel only with my iPhone. However, I failed to mention another piece of technology I planned to take: my Apple Watch. While I didn’t give it much thought at the time, it turned out to be a wonderful, and useful, travel companion.

I just returned from a month-long trip to Europe. Before I left, I had decided to leave my iPad at home and only bring my iPhone for computing tasks. As I recently started blogging and writing again, I wanted to make sure I was able to keep at it while on this trip. To help, I bought a travel keyboard so that I could use my iPhone as my writing machine. It seemed like a great plan.

I’ve got that software bug again. I’m not talking about a software defect that drives us all crazy. No, I’m talking about the strong desire to write software. I wrote recently about how I had decided to stop working on software and focus on writing. I did that and have enjoyed it, but almost every day I’ve still been thinking about software. About finishing the app I started last year. About new apps I could write. About new ways to solve problems I’ve come across. And on and on and on. What does it mean?
Tech Talk Posts
I’ve decided to stop cross-posting the articles from my Tech Talk site here. As I wrote before, it feels a bit strange when I look back on the posts on this site and see so many Tech Talk links.
That said, I have noticed several readers here also use those links to jump over to Tech Talk. If you’d like to be notified of new Tech Talk articles follow that site here.
Now that that’s out of the way, on to writing something!
